A New Year & Celebration Giveaway!

Seeing as it is the middle of the summer school holidays for us here in Oz, we thought it would be nice to do a giveaway for the little people in our lives. The Giveaway is also to celebrate the 10,000 hits mark on our blog, its our way of saying 'Thank You' for all the lovely & encouraging comments - we are blessed. There are 2 prizes - one for the boys and one for the girls.

IM000323

My friend Monique kindly donated 2 of her 'Boys Toys' patterns, the Case tractor on the left is a pattern and kit, & the John Deere tractor is a pattern only. You could make these for the boys, small and big, in your life.

This PVC bag is for the girls, to pack all their essentials in :)

If you would like to win one of these prizes, just let me know what you enjoy (or used to enjoy) about the school holidays - & prize preference. You could add a link to your blog for an extra chance to win too. I will close the giveaway at 12pm this Sunday 11th January & announce the winners in the evening - Good Luck.

With Love

PS This giveaway is open to everyone - National and International entries are welcome :)

What a nice thing to do for the little people.
I loved and still love about holidays the break in routine,The later more relaxed dinner times the later showers in the morning and the risk of being discovered in pj's at 11am!!!
The not good is I feel so lazy and whilst everyone I know is taking their kids here and there we reamin just at home.

What clever lady's. You are inspiring me to get my sewing machine out for a test run. It has been a few months.

School hols and Chrissie are so special to me as I have my lovely hubby and children all home together. Wonderful family fun. It is sad when i still have to go and do my part time job. It is nice coming home to fun and laughter however.

Take care and keep up all your good work. God Bless

School holidays are great for me too, as a teacher!! It's the extra relationship time with my daughter that has been great recently, not rushing everything. She would love the girls' bag, but I'm not sure if you are shipping to the UK.
Happy 2009,
Fran

Well done girls on 10 000 hits!! I am loving the summer holidays - especially the break in the busy school/work routine. It gives me extra time to spend time with the kids - playing board games, watching dvd's, baking and crafting together! It is also lovely to have time to catch up with friends and enjoy the lovely summer weather we are having. Hope you are both enjoying your summer!

What I used to enjoy about the school holidays was taking the time to enjoy time with my siblings playing out in the snow and baking with my grandmother.
I would love the Case tractor kit as we had a Case tractor on our farm when I was little...what a memory.

I actually hated the school holidays! I got bored and would miss school! I love the John Deere looking tractor. That would be cool to have!

I think as mums we all enjoy the school holidays for the break from the usual routine, but thinking back to my own school holidays, I loved nothing more than laying on the beach doing nothing!!

10,000 hits! Fantastic. School holidays for me means relaxing times with my children, whether at home or away. Hanging out in PJ's and daggy track pants and just chilling out. My prize preference is the girlie bag. :-)

Hello Janelle and Kylie,

I really enjoy the school holidays. It is so much more relaxing, playing board games doing jigsaws and reading sewing and cooking without the hassle of thinking whether it is school pick up time. Although I am not enjoying this heat we are having at the moment. Congratulations on 10 000 hits. Happy days.

Holidays - Oh how I miss then, I work at a school but only get the normal 4 weeks leave per year but do miss the lazy summer days spent houseboating for weeks on end, that was before i discovered patchworking, now of course l'd much rather play with my fabric!!! Love your giveaway, the boys pack is rather cute.

I used to love just the freedom to do whatever I wanted, the time to read whatever I wanted. I hated going back to school. I used to have to take Dimetapp the night before school restarted to get to sleep. My girls would love the little girls bag...they do love bags!

I enjoy reading your blog so much!

What I enjoyed most about summer holidays was going to the swimming pool and staying there the whole day with family and friends, day in day out. We had all our days filled! I love your giveaways and congratulations on your 10 000 hits. That is a lot!!!
