I grew up looking at this very familiar picture whilst waiting for my favourite childhood programs to come on TV. It used to mesmerise me, plus they played lovely elevator music in the background. Does this look familiar to anyone else?
Now Yummy Fabric does exactly the same thing!
3 Sisters, Prints Charming, Sandi Henderson and Alexander Henry
($6 a metre and $10.99 a metre)
Jitterbug, Gabriella and Polka Dot
(These are 1&1/2 metre bundles, for $5, from work - we have been having the 'buy 2 get 1 free sale', so that's 4&1/2 metres of fabric for $10!).
I find it very hard to leave work empty handed :)

I love the gabriella, and I too am mesmerized by fabric! Then i have to figure out what to do with it all :) Hope you are having a good week.
Looks like you had another great week at work - love the fringe benefits of your job!! Have a great weekend.
Your job would be very dangerous for me! :) Love the fabric, though!
What a blast from the past... the old test pattern. Yes, I remember sitting in front of it early in the morning willing it to finish so my shows could come on. If I remember rightly, I was waiting for the Thunderbirds.. too funny. Imagine if our kids today had to wait for TV to start up in the morning.
Thanks for the memory.

Wonderful deals and irresistible fabrics! Have a fabulous weekend!
I too remember waiting for the test pattern to finish before the cartoons started up, and that was in the mid 80's!
And I love the fabric, I feel extremely ripped off that we don't have something like that in Brisbane. Very jealous!!!! :)
The test pattern reminds me of Mr Squiggle and Miss Jane!
You could buy up so big at this store and onsell it for a profit- oh, is that illegal? I would love lots of that Prince Charming - can you be my Personal Shop Assistant and then send me the bill?
I think I'd just have to get them to pay me in 'goods'!! Your fabrics look lovely!!! And yes, I remember the ABC thing!!
Ha, this brings back so many memories! I'm very jealous of those fabrics.
I love the fabrics!
Thanks for the help with the flower's name. It is beautiful!
So jealous of your job!
You and me both, sister...I just ordered more fabric yesterday! EEKS!
