Congratulations to Anita L who is the lucky winner of the wheat bag!
Drawn from the old button tin I was gifted recently and I’m currently sifting through. I have a strange addiction to old buttons, here is a shot of my button collection, stored in an old wooden box my grandfather made. Both my children have spent many hours sifting, sorting and playing with these buttons while I sew.
Till next time, keep smiling

There is something very special about old buttons :)
awesome collection
Congratulations Anita, its fitting that it goes to a chilly Melbournite ;) The button collection is magic, I have my Nans buttons in her original tin.

Congratulations Anita, looks like the rest of us will have to make our own. Luckily we still have some warm weather in Melbourne so we have some time up our sleeves.
I too love old buttons, I used to spend hours as a child playing with my mums, my children have also spent hours doing the same with mine..
