Lazy Days and Giveaways!

Well the holidays are almost over, I was going to do so many things…..in the end I just put my feet up and read my book.

I purchased this purse kit by Nicole Mallalieu some time ago and it has sat patiently waiting on the sewing table while other projects came and went.  As I tossed and turned the other night desperately trying to sleep, this little project popped into my head…..that’s what I’m going to do tomorrow I thought.

And so I did.  It was nice to do something a little different and it all came together beautifully. Nicole’s instructions are great.  I’ve just placed an order for more frames so it’s time for a Giveaway!

Leave a comment on this post and I’ll put your name into the draw for your very own purse, mention the giveaway on your own blog and get 5 more entries, you can choose the fabric from my stash and I’ll whip one up for you!

This African Violet sits on my kitchen bench and makes me smile :)

Good Luck!
Kylie
PS: I’ll draw the winner some time on Friday (c:

My kind of holidays, sounds like you had a very relaxing time. Love your purse, it reminds me of the ones I used to have when I was a little girl. Please put me in your draw.

Love your little coin purse Kylie. I wouldn't have the nerve to try something like that. It looks daunting with the little metal hardware thing. Yours looks perfect and I would love to have one too! Very generous giveaway.

What a cute little pocketbook... I am not sure my sewing skills are up to putting that hardware on so it would be nice to have someone else do it for me.

I will be out-of-town Friday when you draw, so will check back on Sunday eve to see if I win...

Great purse - so neatly constructed! It would look great in any print - maybe the pink and red apples?

Lovely wee purse, the style lends itself to any fabric design really.

Sometimes its just great to read relax and do nothing. Just chill out. The purse is so cute but i am leaving a comment as Jenni (mummydaughtertime) is away on holidays and i know that she loves Nicoles work and has a couple of her patterns.

Gorgeous purse Kylie.
Those african violets have taken me back through time. My old nana loved to strike and grow African Violets and if she had one she had 100... all in recycled pots made from tin cans, margarine containers etc. Your photo has made me think of her tonight. Thank you.
